Showcasing our colleagues’ ideas

We recognise that our colleagues bring valuable ideas that can help improve the experience of our colleagues and customers. Our 'FWD TH!NK' initiative exists to unlock potential and empower every colleague to shape the future of our business.

We ask colleagues to submit their creative ideas on specific topics where we can drive real change for our colleagues and customers. These are reviewed by subject matter experts, who choose the winning ideas among colleagues to implement.  

To date, we’ve received over 3,000 ideas from colleagues across 10 markets. And over the last 16 months, we’ve had over 100 winning ideas that we’ve used in some way. 

Any idea, big or small, can pave the way for our future success. 'FWD TH!NK' creates an avenue for our colleagues’ creativity and innovative spirit to shape Primark. 

One idea we brought to life following a 'FWD TH!NK' campaign, was the introduction of seamless socks to better support children who found seams a challenge. 


Having worked in colleague ideation for a number of years I am a strong believer that no-one knows a business better than those that work within it. So where better for Primark to get innovative ideas from, than the beating heart of our business, its colleagues. They live and breathe the brand every day and can help share ways for us to keep improving, making Primark a better place to work and shop.
